Waiting patiently for a turn…..

at the bird feeder.
This juvenile Goldfinch sat very quietly on my shed roof while two adult Goldfinches claimed the the perches at the sunflower seeds. Patience rewarded and the youngster got a turn when the adults flew off.

I just had enough time to watch the birds while tidying up the kitchen this morning before picking up L and heading through to Elie.
