Bank holiday

We watched Trooping the Colour from start to finish. It always reminds N of his National Service days. I enjoyed watching the Royal family and it was great to see the royal children.
I persuaded N to come out in the afternoon. We visited two local churches as we had heard there was an exhibition of children's art work to commemorate the Jubilee. It was lovely to see their interpretations of the occasion and their portraits of the Queen.
After visiting the churches we headed up to Ranmore and enjoyed the countryside in the sunshine. It was very busy up there, the main car parks were full, but as locals we know quieter spots.
The daisies in my photo in one of the churchyards looked good against the old flint church wall.
