Beaver tail

 . . . and quite a tale to tell in the extras. Whilst watching this beaver go back and forth plastering mud on his lodge I spied a muskrat swimming . . . so did the beaver and he did something I've witnessed before: he chased and attacked the muskrat.

       Plenty of mule deer about; birdsong (I wish i could identify them all); a distressed killdeer(?) flew over; and ducks. An altogether eventful morning - but nothing like the partying and celebrating for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Listened and watched a bit of today's activities on BBC World News. And there's four more days of partying ??!!

EDIT: Never have I seen so many Union flags shown upside-down or the wrong way round (some just the result of snapping bunting from the wrong side?)
