York day 1

Today we travelled to York to see Matt and to bring some of his things back with us as he's finished at uni now.
We arrived about 3 and got the Park and Ride into York after checking in to the Travelodge. We had a wander around and then met Matt and his girlfriend, Lucy, for a meal.
It's the first day of the Jubilee weekend today and the Queen looked lovely in her blue outfit on the balcony. I missed most of the celebrations as we were travelling but was impressed with the 70 formation flypast.
