Wending

Settled down in front of the computer for the afternoon when D decided the rain wasn’t going to put him off driving into Upper Coquetdale. Of course he dragged me kicking and screaming (not really) away from my monitor, encouraged me to add socks and shoes before aiming me at the car and ordering me to ‘get in the passenger side’.
It was still very grey as we left our part of the Coquet Valley behind but brightened up as we entered the National park. On the way we saw no cars at all - except parked in the two walkers’ car parks. The scenery was stunning as you can see from my pic.
We stopped on the way home for refreshments in the Rose & Thistle in Alwinton.
