Down the road

The queen has certainly travelled a long road. I took this on our way to a local celebration for the jubilee. We were intrigued to see what form the beacon would take. It was a scaffolding tower with projections, but then when the children stopped singing and the pipers stopped piping, the sky was lit up with a spectacular light show (that bit wasn’t advertised). Nice one Jersey, bet it looked good from out at sea! Not so much in my photos though, so you get the one from ‘down the road’!
