If you can't beat them...

30 days wild.

The wildlife trusts are encouraging everybody to be involved with something wild during June.  It may be going for a walk in the country, watching birds, identifying flowers, etc.

Today we were heading back north, but we had time for a visit to Endcliffe Park.   When there Daniel headed straight for his favourite part, the Parkour equipment (see extra) Emily was content to tear up and down on her bike.

"Cuckoo Spit" is a foam generated by the immature Froghoppers ( insects of the family Cercopoidea ).   They are sap sucking insects but don't do damage to the plant so to quote Gardeners' World It's best to leave Froghoppers to get on with being Froghoppers"".

During June I will attempt to include something related to wildlife each day.  Probably wild flowers, birds and wild places.
