More pink campion...

... or probably the same pink campion, now fully open in the chive pot, but a very different view of it from last week's. I hadn't noticed the shape of the stamens before, and although this isn't perfectly focused, I like the way it fades into the dark background.

This is Wednesday's photo. It was a gloomy day, and my exhaustion from being up for 21 hours on Monday caught up with me, so I didn't make as much use as I intended of the time J spent with her PA and struggled to motivate myself. However, I did spend some time on the deck after lunch, starting second sowings of lettuce, basil, French beans and courgettes, as well as belatedly sowing the sweetcorn, kale and nasturtiums, so it wasn't a totally lost day.
