Jubilee Fireworks

B and I walked into Holt to enjoy the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations being held in the Market Place which was closed to traffic all day.  There was a live band playing when we arrived and then the Holt Community Choir led the singing of some national favourites such as Jerusalem, Land of Hope & Glory, Rule Britannia etc.  A gentleman playing bagpipes was next and he accompanied the lighting of the beacon, which although small still created a sense of occasion.  The evening was rounded off by some splendid fireworks.

It was lovely to see everyone out enjoying themselves together and celebrating this unique occasion.  Marvellous!
