Nearly finished

In between household jobs, I’ve spent most of today on my skirt. The invisible zip at the back was a bit tricky because the fabric has a little bit of stretch in it, which of course the zip doesn’t have. I got there in the end, and all that’s left to do now is the hem.

Except  … I think I may add a lining first! I’m a sucker for punishment, but I’m determined to take my time and get every detail correct, and a lining would make it hang a bit better, and make it feel a bit more special. 

I could feel Patrick and Esmé breathing down my neck and checking every little detail as I was sewing! Somehow I think they’d definitely recommend a lining, don’t you?
