A beautiful face, beautiful hair

Clem and Corina invited me to a lunch in their garden today and how wonderful it was to chat to new people. They live 10 minutes walk away and I think there were about 10 of us, so an excuse to party for me :-)

I can't believe this lovely African American woman was pressurised to straighten her hair when she was at school in the US . I really hope this repressive, racist practice has ceased!
