Wild and Free

Wild woodland strawberries 'planted' by birds are ripening now in the garden. They are tiny but intensely flavoured (the berries, not the birds :-) ). It's unusual to see fully ripe ones like these still on the plant. Usually the birds get to them first, which seems fair if you think about it.

For those who heard about my IT issues yesterday; thankfully all was solved by late afternoon today. What a relief!
