Wānaka Winter

It’s June- it’s officially winter.
We had a VERY big frost this morning - but didn’t travel far as we were invited to our neighbours for scones and coffee at 8.45am. Both were delicious- as was the company!
Jill departed to the Snow Farm to continue to help paint some new buildings. Frida and I had a super walk at the wetlands. Walked out to this point where you can see the Hāwea River enter the Clutha River. This panarama shows the wintry leafless trees and a sunny sky.
A friend from Dunedin is coming for dinner tonight- so I’d better get into the kitchen.
Thank you for your kind comments for yesterdays mono.
