Tree Trouble

Trees are nice to look at on a golf course but not so nice when they’re in your way. My last game before we head off and it was a re-match with Sejin who decided to join Kingsknowe this year, hadn’t broken 100 until Wednesday when she romped home to win a Ladies’ competition and then repeated the feat by thrashing yours truly. To be fair I did well to take it to the 16th green after losing the first seven holes! Her she is finally in a spot of trouble at the 8th, the first hole she lost. Another re-match is scheduled for the Autumn.
Did some more pre-trip stuff on the way home then nipped up to give the allotment a good soaking, too late for the Pak Choi though as they’ve started to bolt. Sigh. Picked more salad leaves, that’s all that was ready.
Then our monthly online gathering, fraught with technical gremlins as norm and with an invasive, ticking clock from Limekilns! A mobile tour of D&K’s new pad was good, not a bad wee place at all.
