Bottlebrush

Very dark this morning with rumblings of thunder and a few spots of rain. Through the glass we could see the first flowers opening on the bottlebrush tree, seen here in the rain. From a small shrub it is now a small tree over 6 feet tall. 
Also today as an extra, a photo from yesterday. It shows the entrance to Bogey Knights. Haven't been inside for years, but remember it being a bit of an Aladin's cave. The store sells a lot of military surplus items. I imagine the suit of armour would have been surplus to army requirements some time ago!
