Say a little prayer

It being the Bank Holiday weekend the Chantry Chapel in Wakefield is open for a highly unusual 3 days in a row. The chapel is on a medieval bridge, the main part of it was rebuilt in the 1840s and the front was replaced in 1939.
For those who are unsure what a chantry is, it was built for the saying of masses and prayers to reduce the amount of time that a soul would spend in purgatory. Handy.
The last time I was here was as a young teenager with my mum (who was from Wakefield).
Lunch plans came to nothing so we came home for fish and chips.
