Avro Lancaster

The familiar sound of 4 Merlin engines announced the presence of this historic aircraft at the Torbay Air Show. I was visiting Daughter E and 
Son in Law T's place at nearby Dawlish, from which we had a good view of the Lancaster and also of a passing Chinook helicopter - see extra. The images are not as clear as I would have liked but he camera phone was at extreme range. I left home in a downpour of biblical proportions, and was somewhat relieved that in Dawlish barely a drop of rain had fallen, and so it remained.
