Not optimum conditions...

...for today's pile of marking, but the sunshine was still welcome. And two days in a row - things must be on the turn. It hasn't lasted all day but it was nice to sit and mark with the door to the garden open and I managed to stick at it without too many distractions.

The rest of the day has been even less blipable - there's nothing photogenic about cleaning the kitchen floor, doing the hoovering or working through a pile of ironing - but still a sense of getting the decks cleared before the start of another week. Having got all that done I'm now sat catching up on The Great British Sewing Bee. It's not as good as it's baking cousin but I'm still enjoying it.
