washed away but not forgotten

Wander into town to the Abbeymount Studios Open Studio Day. Really lovely place. Enjoyed speaking to the artists and looking at their artwork. We did pick up a lovely painting (thanks Louise). Unfortunately, we missed Helen Miles who produces the lovely mosaics. 

On the way into town we passed the UK government offices that were splattered with red paint a few days ago in protest against the new Jackdaw gas field. They were quick with the scrubbers. We are in a climate emergency. Exploiting a new gas field is just adding to our problems (but it does make some people very rich). A transition to a just and green future that does not rely on exploitation is possible and necessary.
