Queens’ Platinum Jubilee

The Queen’s been on the throne for 70 years.  Every town and village down south seemed to be putting a huge effort into celebrating the occasion. I haven’t noticed quite as much up here in Edinburgh.  We watched the Platinum Party from the Palace  on TV.  And reminisced about the Diamond Party ten years ago when Mister F won tickets in the draw!  What a day - wandering around the private grounds of the Palace enjoying our the picnic basket full of Heston Blumenthal goodies and then the concert at night.
