Elasmostethus interstinctus

A shield bug on our apple tree leaf. My eyes almost touched the leaf to see if there is some pest in our aple tree, because the leaves are a bit curled. Then, I saw something reminding an insect. Having a macro lens on camera it was easy to magnify a bug. Wikipedia gives a common name 'birch shield bug' for this, but at least in Finnish the name is reserved to another species of these. This is called something like sprig shield bug as translated directly. However, a shield bug and very nice coloured.
