Can't believe I got this close!

What a treat!

We had a lovely walk this afternoon ..... there was a rather chilly brisk wind but at least the sun was shining for most of the time :-)

We spotted two Hares on the way 'up the road' but they were quite a distance off & dived into the cover of the crops in the field.

However it was a different story on the way back!

One Hare was sitting still on the edge of the field ...... it seemed to be listening to the Blackbird that was singing on a nearby post.

I took a couple of shots from quite a distance .... then slowly walked closer & closer ..... I managed to get fairly close to get this image before it disappeared back into the cover of the field ..... such a treat :-)
