Knaresborough

We spent the afternoon in Knaresborough, dodging the showers. It was mostly a trip out to meet up with the band as we haven't been back to rehearsals yet. We'll go back after the summer break I think. We're both too out of practice to play this summer. It was lovely meeting up again! It was also a good excuse to actually see more of the town - we usually turn up with a drum kit, park next to the castle, play, eat cake in a cafe over the road and then leave again. Today we parked at Conyingham Hall and walked along the riverside and up the steps. It's ridiculously close to home so we ought to go again when the weather is better.

I've also uploaded my aquilegia from yesterday's workshop as an extra - go to yesterday to see it.
