Day #5 of #30dayswild brought some very welcome rain - quite a lot of rain actually, with nearly 4 cm accumulated in one of my plant trays by the end of the day.

The wet weather kept me largely indoors, but I did visit the rain-spangled garden, where I spotted a juvenile Garden Spider sitting in its jewelled web, and admired both the neatly regimented droplets on a blade of Reed Canary-grass, all lined up along the ridges of the water-repellent surface and the more random droplets on an emerging flower-head of Yorkshire-fog.
