Peonies ...

... as deeply crimson as can possibly be :) on an intensely beautiful and comfortably warm late spring day.  We passed them on Union Street on our mid-afternoon walk.  What delightful weather, not at all humid.

We watched the men's singles final at the French Open (Roland Garros--thus my last report):  Raphael Nadal of Spain predictably prevailed over the Norwegian Casper  Ruud, in three easy sets.  We'll miss the tennis!
But Wimbledon does start soon--June 29.
