Ugly Sunset

It was finally a beautiful, clear blue day. We were so lucky to not be getting sprayed. Or so I thought...

Just before sunset, directly over our house, came a fat trail spanning the entire sky from the west out over the ocean, to the east as far as we could see.

This is no contrail. These trails develop creepy finger like nubs that curl and feather out and creep across the sky, until it's nothing but a cobweb of silvery white haze.

We have short summers here on the Oregon coast as it is. Now our sunny days are much fewer.
Our clear blue sky is being blotted out by God knows whom, for God knows what purpose.

I've been seeing more and more of this in the last few years. What are they doing it for? If it's cloud seeding, I could understand that, scientifically speaking, but we are not in Oklahoma or Texas...

This is the Pacific Northwest!!
