Poppies

Allowed extra time to get R to the ferry because of the cycling event happening on the island, and having almost been caught out last time.  Needn't have worried, worked out fine and the event has made for a lovely atmosphere on the island, an excellent antidote to all the Jubilee mania going on elsewhere in the UK.  Been so good having R here, even if for such a short time.  She says she is hoping to be back in about 3 weeks.
