Spring is here

I definitely know spring is here when the oyster catchers start to nest down the Mennock Pass. This year two pairs have appeared. The poor things must pray for a bad summer as they just get settled when the wild campers swamp the area covering it in litter, lighting fires and driving all over the grass. It is rarely you ever see any chicks. Such a shame they are such stunning birds.
