Thistle Bee Interesting!

I know the bee and the thistle but not the insect - anyone identify it? I think it's an Argyra. 
A fun walk with Pepper with lots of insects to see now that the verges are awash with plants. Grasses too are surprisingly interesting with tiny spiders lurking.
