MonoMonday: Cornus Love

Dogwoods (Cornus) are one of my favorite blooming trees. I like this capture in silvertone. The extra shows this beauty in its original pink form.

The Pacific Northwest is experiencing an exceptionally wet spring, or perhaps it's just in the past decade that springs have been drier. When I think back to the early '70s when I moved here, spring was a wet season. As someone from central California, it took some time (read years) to adjust to the concept of rain in spring.
