Peach

We do have a number of meadow orchards (Streuobstwiesen) in our neighbourhood.  Meadow orchards are [quote] "a traditional landscape in the temperate, maritime climate of continental Western Europe."
Unfortunately we see them disappear, and very often the fruit falls down and subsequently moulders away. The customers are not willing to pay the higher price, but rather buy from mono-cultural orchards.
The peach tree in this meadow orchard will probably be harvested. Either by the owner, or by passers-by, as the orchards is immediately next to a little road and not fenced in...
