Beach Tennis

A new sport has sprung up at the Del Mar volleyball courts, beach tennis. The groups arrive after most of the volleyball is over (see the empty posts in the background). I watched for a little while as I was departing the beach. It seems a bit less strenuous than our two vs two volleyball play, but more movement than the pickleball I have been a part of. The big advantage to my way of thinking is that this could be played without any kind of footwear whatsoever.
