MOT:  despite, or maybe because of, little usage my car has failed it's MOT spectacularly and needs to spend the night away being treated with TLC.

excitement of the day:  there is some filming going on in front of the house - Dora is making a film for her Phd and we are providing parking while they shoot one of the scenes.  we should get to see the results in September.
