Large skipper butterfly

This morning I went for a walk around the village, the sun was shining and it was pleasantly warm.  It was lovely to see this Large Skipper butterfly flitting from flower to flower at the castle, it was the first that I've seen this year.

This evening I'm off to a music session so it will be a late night tonight.
