We've been best friends ever since we met through the Chestnut playgroup committee.  That's 25 years ago and our children are now making their own connections and lifelong friends!

I was very happy to grab a spontaneous catch up this afternoon.  It was a lovely day for an afternoon walk though sadly Jess was puffed out before we were.

In other news, I made my own coconut bird feeder using the leftover fat from our kitchen and seeds, mealworms etc. at the weekend.  It did seem a bit runny but I put it in the freezer and I put it out today.  

It melted and Jess was very pleased with herself for gobbling it up before I noticed!
