"The Esplanade Club in Watchet displays a figurehead of Neptune's wife, Salacia ('Sally'). It was a gift from Scottish sculptor Alan Herriot who also created the Yankee Jack and Ancient Mariner sculptures on The Esplanade.

The figure was plain white plaster and Alan insisted that it should be painted by local Watchet artist Pat Dennis, creator of the Old Mineral Yard mural."

I might change my name to Salacia so I sound a bit less like a folk song or West Highland Terrier.
