Mapping Lorna's world

The lack of posting to our journal over the past few days may give the impression that the P2P project team has taken a rest. In fact, we have been very busy on the project.

Our main activities have been focused on: follow-up from the launch event; creating materials (including video) to share with those who would like to have come along on 24th May but couldn't make it; responding to a request from our funder to blog about our work; assembling transcripts of the Phase 1 interviews with those contributing to our empirical research; planning the Phase 2 interviews; working on the final tasks to add the remaining V1 podcast series episodes to the Malvern Museum web pages; and supervising our summer intern student who is about to start to add sound effects to the recordings for V2 of the war diary episodes.

We would now like to invite blippers to join in with sourcing content for this journal. The idea is to add here current photographs of the locations that Lorna mentioned in her war diary between 1939 and 1941.The interactive map available from the Malvern Museum web site (blipped) shows the places, and ties them to the relevant entries in LornaL journal. We’d like to encourage blippers to explore the map. If you are located in any of the places and are able to send a photo to add to the journal, please email Hazel (h.hall@napier.ac.uk) to let her know, and we can agree a date for your contribution to our project to feature in this journal.
