Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Heath

Small Heath butterflies always seem to emerge later locally than elsewhere. I saw some in Wales ten days ago, but it’s only now that I’ve seen any here. They should now be good companions on the moor for the rest of the summer.

Also about: Small Copper, Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock, Green-veined White, Wall and Speckled Wood.
