New book

Kate Grenville is brilliant at portraying life in the early days of the white colonisation of New South Wales.

This is a fictionalised account of the life of Elizabeth Macarthur, who arrived in the infant colony with her husband John Macarthur in 1790. John Macarthur is credited with being the father of the Australian merino wool and sheep industry. He was also a narcissistic, unstable sociopath and there are those who think Elizabeth was the real mother of the industry.

Looking forward to this one. I hope I will find out what the title means.
