Crêtes de Fillols

Today's walk took us on the high paths to Fillols. The path was narrow rocky and progress was quite slow but we finished the ten kilometre walk by lunchtime, having left early in the morning . We climbed over 500 metres. There is a cafe in the village. It was nice to be able to pause there and have a drink and eat our sandwiches. I was back in time to join the painting group,  meeting unusually on a Wednesday afternoon. I continued working on a stormy seascape
