Freemantle

sunset at Freemantle. Beautiful isn't it?

We had a busy day. Visited the prison, the roundhouse, the maritim museum of shipwrecks with the history of the Batavia and the Duyfken and we visited the new maritim museum. In between we had fish and chips and we did some shopping. Ofcourse I had a cappuccino as well.

We learned that it were actually the Dutch to have mapped the first West Coast of Australia. It was all very interesting. We had a fantastic guide at the Freemantle Prison (an Irish man) and the guide at the shipwreck museum made me think of mr. Bean.

tomorrow we are going to tour for at least a week so after that I'll do some backblipping. Love you all. I'll send a special blip to Luuk.
