Raindrops …

….. ….. on roses
and not a kitten in sight.
It’s not a rose that I’m particularly fond of but this did look lovely; a bit old fashioned looking?
It was supposed to be Margaret Merrill but this one got planted by mistake.

It’s been a wet cold day, with a wee welcome window of sunshine this afternoon.

I managed to get out for a quick visit to Arrowtown this morning, to pick up stuff from the pharmacy. Not very exciting really but it was lovely to get out!

My daughter arrived at lunchtime and insisted on cooking a yummy frittata for lunch, and then a neighbour popped over for a while later too.
Nice to see some visitors. I think there’s progress - hope it lasts.
