London Marathon 2013 Mile 25

I was working today so didn't get to support and watch the Marathon for very long, but I had to walk down to Embankment on my lunch and see some of it.
As I walked down the strand some Elite runners were being police escorted in their drive, I imagine, off for a cool down massage or something. A few other runners were wandering along looking very proud with their medals hung around their necks and others wandering wearily!
As I turned the corner at Charing Cross the noise from the crowd down on the embankment was phenomenol. What an amazing and encouraging atmosphere. It bought back memories from 4 years ago when I ran the last ever Flora Marathon. I knew that those Cheers from the crowd were really egging the runners along to the final mile.
Such an achievement so well done to everyone who ran today no matter what your time.
Perhaps One day I'll do it again.... Perhaps!

Oh I also converted to Mono But couldn't decide which I liked best! Let me know your thoughts!
