A Schoolday

Spotted this group of schoolkids getting on their bikes for a day out with their teacher ~ to whatever; a museum or a park or a tour thro' town, I didn't ask them.

Instantly I had to think of that group like them in Berlin who yesterday was out with their teacher for the day and then were hit by a car that had come zigzagging onto the pavement near the Kurfürstendamm where they walked... Their teacher was killed  on instant and 29 of their group were injured, of whom 10 most seriously. What accident was this?! Was it an accident or an attack? No one knows precisely yet, but it's shockingly sad and shouldn't have happened ever. 

Schoolkids and their teachers are our precious promiss for the future.
