Pulpit Rock

We're staying at the Nepean Country Club Resort with my husband's parents. The children came here with them this time last year, and found it so wonderful they insisted we returned to experience it ourselves. The irony being, that the weather was so grim, and the facilities at the club so wonderful (for the sporting minded), that they barely stepped out of the resort.

So far, the children's extensive travel experience has translated into world weary commentary along the lines of "Why are you so excited about crossing into Victoria? We've done it a million times" (us never). Possibly, they are turning into their grandparents, who have left so little of Australia (and the world) undiscovered, their children can only follow in their footsteps ;p

This is all by means of a long winded introduction to the fact that yes, we did repeat their excursion to the spectacular Cape Schank, and yay, we ventured further than they had before (thanks to favourable tidal conditions).

Poor Im lost her favourite hat to the wind and waves - here she is exclaiming to me to come and rescue it.

Already forgotten - and today (now tomorrow) looks like we won't be needing it, unless it also has waterproof properties.
