Grateful for the January 6th Hearings that started today live on tv, and the clear and sensible introduction presented by the chairman of the Select Committee, Bennie Thompson.
As a country, we need to remain alert and fight the possibility of a dangerous autocratic government. The threat is real. The fight for our democracy is taking place at this very moment. The violent actions perpetrated to destroy it are now all too familiar. The hearings will duly document the failed attempted coup for history.
