Mossy messes

Thankyou for sympathetic comments re our coldness yesterday. Today when I was out it was around -5 in the wind...brisk,one could say. Saw these mosses and liked their twists and curls and the stiff pine needles over them; too hard to identify them (despite having volunteered as a moss herbarium mounter years ago)!
