Maroochy River Fishing Houses

Went for a walk along the Maroochy River esplanade and saw these old fishing houses (owned privately) along the river bank. Only about 6 such properties still remain with council approval (no new ones issued). The cold snap continues with a 7-18C range which is very cold for this sub-tropical area... Heading to the Gold Coast for 2 nights from Sunday, hopefully the surf will pick up soon......
