Start of Origin

Other than bible study, didn't have much on today.  I did have a very looong catch up call with Evelyn today and got lots of news about whats happening in Hong Kong!!!

Today is the first in the 3 game tournament called State of Origin. Held every year between NSW (Blues) and QLD (Maroons .. pronounced Marones)! We've been huge fans of this series for many years and used to watch in Hong Kong as well.

QLD remarkably won, even though they were playing in Sydney, with a bigger Blues crowd. They were tight in their defence and attack, and it was lovely to watch.  And a new coach to boot :).

Hope we win the next one too in three weeks.
