Rufford marina

I'd fallen so far behind that the walking group hasn't been out for a few months. I finally got a date sorted and chose a simple walk we've done before. There were only five of us today and three hadn't been on the previous one. We started at Rufford and walked along the canal, across the fields to Mere Sands Wood , across another field and dropped back down to the canal. It was a lovely morning, quite warm and no rain ... at least, not for most of it. It started raining five minutes before we got back to the car but it was actually quite refreshing. As usual, we finished with a pub lunch.
